Therapeutic Learning Services

Services and programming are developed and provided in a center-based daily therapeutic and educational environment. Collaboration and strong relationships with families and school districts are built to assist children to develop the appropriate skills that will help them return to their community school successfully. Special education needs of the child are met in the context of a treatment program that includes medication management, individual, group and family therapy. Children attend this program daily during the normal school day and year including summer sessions. Clients seen in the Therapeutic Learning Center have a severe emotional disturbance, are age 11-15, and are seen in conjunction with their families. Clients are referred by their home school districts. TLC centers are located in Oakdale and Oak Park Heights.
