The Therapeutic Learning Center I program provides special education and therapeutic services to seriously emotionally disturbed adolescents in a structured therapeutic environment. This position provides direct educational services to students, complies with due process laws, serves as a liaison to school districts and provides support to other staff. The teacher is an integral part of the team, providing comprehensive mental health day treatment services to students age 13 to 17. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in education with a Minnesota Teaching License and E/BD License or working toward licensure required. This position implements and maintains all approved software applications within the organization including Pro-Filer (electronic health records), ABRA (payroll), ACCPAC (accounting), RaisersEdge (fundraising), FAS (fixed assets), all Microsoft desktop applications (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Word), PCAce (electronic invoicing), Trapeze (transportation scheduling), and others; conducts all software testing & validation; provides end user training material as well as training opportunities; creates and maintains an effective informational reporting system for each software application as well as consolidated reporting across all applications; and maintains basic network and server efficiencies. A bachelor’s degree in computer science plus 3 to 4 years of computer systems experience is required. Working knowledge of computer systems (network and hardware) and best practices in the area of software application and management information reporting required.
